tf 727 rebuild

Fried the tranny in my jeep yesturday (no longer have reverse or 3rd gear)gonna need to have it rebuilt anyone know somone that can do it reasonably?  Or guide me through it.

edit::  The tranny has to be amc bolt pattern a normal chrysler one won't work.

if it would bolt up to my engine and tcase without haveing to buy adapters or anything like that i would consider it.

i was told by another member that he thought there was somone doing tranny's for members for around 300 is this true?

I've never heard of anyone, anywhere, rebuilding any transmission for less than 1200 with warranty. If you find someone who'll do it for $300 with a warranty... Please post up their info for the rest of us.

so far best is beetles for 450 if i carry it in and still is covered with thier warranty
