New Paint Job
« on: 04/ 8/07 - 09:34PM »
Just I got it done this weekend. Painted it Sat. and put it back together today. Still have to black out the wheel wells and frame.

Here are a few pics of the color. The part is that the camrea did not do it any justice. You cant see the metalic or pearl in the paint.

Thankyou, To get the full effect of the paint it has to be seen in person. I layed it down thick and like glass. 3 coats of paint on all of it.

Looks kind of like the gell coat they put on fiberglass boats.  Might be hard to touch up, but I like it.
I'd put something funny here, but you probably wouldn't get it anyway...

THankyou, The color is acually a Mercedes Benz color off of there 2001 M class sportser. Yes the color would be hard to do a touch up or blend job it they where not trained in how to. But for me no sence I have been doing body and paint for closs to 13 years now. You all will see more of my paint work afer I paint Goff's FJ ND Berret's CYTJ rig.

And Thankyou

That is a better look of the paint. You can see the pearl and flake in it but it is still to yellow there is a green tint in the pearl
