rock bumper and tire carrier

well since a deal didnt go through and im building them anyways, im going to be building a rock bumper and a swing out tire carrier with an open hold on it

when im done with it, ill take some photos of the two and put them up for sale.


just to let you know of the construction

2x2x.25 square for the base
trailer spindle with roller bearings for swing out
upright for tire adjustable (fj cruiser and cj,tj,yj patterns)
lock for when it is shut and one to hold it open (as was requested)
this particular one will be mounted with the tire towards the passenger side and a mount for a large ammo can on the right (bolt on option)

i think ill have this powder coated for the pictures.

now to the front

2x4x.25 rectangular  40 inches wide with 2 different bevels on the ends.  will have a small stinger and tabs for some lights. will have 2 1" thick d ring mounts on the front.  mounting tabs to the frame will be added to fit a tj, but ill make them universal so that all i have to do is weld the tabs in the correct spot for different apps.

ill post pics as i progress. these will be done for my website going up. i hope to have it up soon.

i feel bad, they are still sitting here and barrett and i forgot to load them. so how about i make sure we load them up and you can have them for free. and ill have barrett load them in his truck first thing when he gets here. my cell number is 573-201-3486, home 573-317-0933.

no, i didnt finish them. i only build them when someone actually wants one.  i have the stuff to build one.

if you are interested in one, i can build it.

i have actually been going over my plans for a universal one.  that way i can build several and just have to build brackets to change them up.

ill get one done on barretts rig to take pictures of for my website.
