Hello!
« on: 10/30/06 - 08:59PM »
I'm a newb. I don't have a jeep, but I wish I did. I have a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd, but I'll go anywhere (within reason). I like in Sparta and go to chadwick on my days off, but I don't know where to go off roading there. I'm originally from Monett so I know Roaring River pretty well. I've always had pretty good luck on most trails.

Pretty familiar with Big M. Used to ride my fer wheeler there. My dad told me today that a friend of my sisters was going to take his cherokee to the scrap yard cuz it wouldn't run right. Dad asked him what he wanted for it and he told my dad to get it out of the yard and it's his so my dad went and got it. He says everything works good, but it has a miss. He figures it's a valve sticking. It's a 5 speed. I'm gonna try to talk him out of it. I really like the red cherokee for sale on hwy. 14 in Ozark across from Empire Electric. If I can sell my mustang then I can get a jeep.

I grew up in Monett, too.  Big M/Mark twain near Cassville is fun if you are wanting to trail for free or test some new stuff you installed.

Seymour is a good place as well.

Not really sure.  Never went around Chadwick.  In fact, I don't know of any good places I like that a fullsize truck could make it through without a bit of trouble.

That's my problem. It's not the mud or climbing, it's so long that I can't make some of the tight corners or narrow trails.
