'nother newb
« on: 04/ 2/07 - 10:10PM »
Hey everyone. I just wanted to say Hi. I recently moved to Republic,MO from FL and bought my first Jeep before the move (Nov. '06). I found a decently taken care of white '00 TJ hardtop on 33's (No lift, Yikes!!). Hope to meet some fellow jeepers/friends and looking forward to seeing what the "Jeep Thing" is all about.

33's and no lift... I guess you'll be putting a lift on it or selling some 33's huh?  :agree:

I lived in Leesburg, which is about 45 mins from Orlando.

I botched a lift to get the fenders off the tires. A friend of mine was lifting his XJ and I stole his front springs. The got me about 1"-2" in the front (too bad he didn't have a V8). I have spacers on the rear. It works for street but off-road it'll rub pretty bad. Lift will be the first mod, right after I get settled in and get my savings back up.
