OK thought I would try this again, but with more lead time!
I am hoping to get my shop cleaned up and re-arranged so I can get my 2 post lift setup and make the shop usable again. Due to my travels I have really let things just get stacked up and unruly after scrapping/fixing up over 14 AMC's/FSJ's in there in the last 2 years. I have full interiors, 401's, 4.0's and hundreds of "small parts" just laying around and in the way (no, I am not getting rid of the 401's YET!)
So I would like to ask for help the weekend of April 27th, 2012 here near Ozark, MO, between Springfield and Branson, MO. I need to unload one of my pallet racks and move it around in the shop, then organize and reload it. Need to move some of the 40 trannys and T/C's I have laying around to the racks out back.
My thought is we could get together Fri night (get a little work done if early enough or just hang out). Probably order Pizzas for everyone that shows.
Sat would be moving stuff around... if enough people show, maybe even getting the front sheetmetal yanked off my 82 J10 in prep for good front clip, 258 and T5. But getting the racks moved and 2 post positioned are my real priorities.
If you have kids that would like to come, there is a great Airsoft facility nearby that they could go to and shoot people while we work. My son hangs there a LOT and the people that run the place are great (

Sat night, if you guys wanted to go to the SMORR campgrounds, we could camp and hit the trails early Sunday morning... or maybe night wheeling up until Midnight, so we could hit some trails late Sat if you're up to it! (smorr.net). If you like wheeling and have never been to this park, it is a great place to go with really nice camping facilities.
Went there this past weekend and had a blast in my son's stock XJ Cherokee... I believe he's hooked now! There are some trails a totally stock Jeep could go down with no fear of scratches, etc... but you would have to air down for even the 2's, unless you had a locker (not challenging, but steep and loose). They do have a station to air back up before you hit the road.
If you think you might want to come out for a weekend to meet some other like-minded gearheads, feel free to respond here or email me at j2sax@yahoo.com. Looks like there may be a contingency from St Louis/Rolla coming down... WooHOO!
